Under Pressure

The following is a conversation I had with my 4 year old son Jack yesterday...

Me: Did you have fun at camp today?

Jack: No because I was tired.

Me: Why are you so tired...did Nana keep you up late (he had a sleepover at Nana's house the night before)

Jack: No, but I could not sleep very well last night because I was stressed...

What in the world could a 4 year old have to be stressed out about??

Haha. That's adorable. Exactly why 4 year olds make the best of friends.

Some kids are stressed out though. School is crazy these days! A little boy in my cousin's kindergarten class 2 years ago was trying to take her skirt off and telling her "I'm gonna ---- you!"

O.O Since when does THAT happen in kindergarten?!!

Not when I was in school, I tell ya... Now I really sound like an old person.

I hope your son starts feeling more relaxed. Hehe. :)

Hm, he could be stressed if his imaginary friend was lost, or he wasn't allowed to watch a favorite TV show, or maybe he couldn't pay his bills on time...oh wait. No, not that last one.
