Stripes, Lace, Floral, Polkadots...Oh My...

It's time for Everybody, Everywear...and everybody is doing it!!

Pants-Express/Top-Loft/Shoes-Kenneth Cole/Jewelry-Nordstrom's, DIY, Target, Street Vendor

Before I started blogging, I would have never mixed patterns...I would have always styled these
pin striped pants with a solid top.  But, thanks to all you bloggers, readers and commenter's, I have fallen in love with mixing it up! I had planned on wearing a striped skirt today, but I could not find it in the mess I call my closet.  Then I saw these pants on the hanger and thought I would throw caution to the wind and see if I could wear them without cringing...and I did.  Not sure how or why they actually fit, but I am just going with it!  This lace t-shirt from Loft is one of my items from my retail therapy spree.  It is a basic great t-shirt with lace sewn on the front.  I have the winter version of this shirt also with long sleeves and stripes...it is one of my favorites and I am pretty sure this short sleeved one with become a long lived closet staple.

Go see how all the other girls mixed it up...check out Everybody, Everywear

Isn't it funny how blogging has made us all such avid fans of things that non-bloggers might think are crazy? I love that!

I also love this outfit- so chic and simple, but with a great edge to it. The neutral color palate is really smart and professional and super, super flattering!

Looks great..isn't it fun to mix and match patterns...opens a whole new world of possibilities with the clothes we already own.

I agree--blogging has definitely made me go outside of my comfort zone. And I love it! I love this pattern mix--because the stripe on your pants is so subtle, it really goes well with the lace. I love that lace top--I have NO lace in my closet!

LOOOOVE! You look awesome. I am still uncomfortable in the pattern mixing department. I will get there...but what you have on looks AWESOME!
