Skirt-Gap/Top-Ann Taylor Loft/Shoes-Nicole/Jewelry-Target, Macy's
I love the way this outfit came together. The pattern mixing...zipper detailing...favorite purple patent heels...chunky necklace...
Worn to work Tuesday, June 7
Dress-Target/Shoes DolceVita/Jewelry-F21, Francesca's
One of the the comfiest dresses...yes, you have seen it before, in blue...TARGET! Love all the ways I can style this dress. I wore it on Sunday with a chunky, jewel-toned necklace and and hot pink heels and decided to style it today more casual, with my new strappy sandals (LOVE THEM!!) and long beads.
So this is week 1 of project back to work...full time!!
For the first time, since Jack was born 5 1/2 years ago, I am officially back to work full-time. The last time I was working everyday I was 29, newly married and career driven. I spent the last five years trying to be all that I could be to my boys and then my job...trying to divide my focus and concentration...spending two days per week just me and my little men. Since the boys are going to camp 5 days per week this summer and Jack will be in full-day kindergarten this fall, me going back to work just kind of fell into place...so here we are now. I am a calmer, more detail orientated, patient, and happier person...thanks to being a mom...no matter where I am, work or home.
On the fashion front, having to dress for work, means more outfit photos...please try to contain your joy! My remixing skills will come in handy trying to decide what to wear each morning as I run around the house chasing the boys, making lunch and refereeing, all while trying to get dressed...I am getting tired just thinking about it.
I apologize for the blurry photos, but my wireless remote died...it made taking outfit photos so much easier. I mourned for it, and now it is time to move on. Anyone have any recommendations on a wireless remote for a Nikon D3100 please share!!

Dressing for work every single day is rough! I have to work in the office all week for the first time in about 3 years because I don't have internet at home yet, and it's been a challenge! Good luck getting back into the swing of things :)
And cute Target dress! I was just there over the weekend and didn't see any like that, although I probably don't need anymore dresses right now.
The Monday outfit is fantastic! I am a sucker for exposed zippers and pattern mixing. Also, Tuesday's outfit is a wonderful example of how you can take a simple, comfy dress and make it WOW with accessories!
I am SO in love with that dress! I've seen it in every color in Target and I'm dying to get one but haven't had the money. I LOVE it and it looks great on you!

I hope being at work full time works out great for all of you. The orange shoes are really fun.
That Ann Taylor top is pretty amazing. I want to touch it. Haha! I was in Target the other day and looked specifically for that dress and couldn't find it. We have kind of a small Target (sad!) so maybe we didn't get it here.

Ok why does my Target not have those shoes? I mean WTF (Why the face?)
I am completely in love with the zipper detail on that skirt, and the dress seems like the perfect summer uniform kind of dress!
Good luck in your first week back to full-time...and more importantly, good luck getting dressed :)
Oh my goodness, I did a double take when I saw your second set of photos. I LOVE those sandals!! And all the other bright accessories! You look lovely!
I have that gray Target dress in orange! It's so fun. And I love those orange sandals you're wearing with it.

Congrats on being back full time! Loving the outfits...the zipper on that skirt is great and the way you accessorized the gray dress is perfection:)
Fabulous auburn sandals!
Ohmygoodness THOSE SHOES. And they're ORANGE. I'm drooling right now, seriously.

That dress was MADE for you - love, love love it (and the was you styled it)!!! Best of luck getting back to work FT - you are a "super-woman"!
I think that getting dressed every day for work is somewhat overrated, ya know? But you look good. And that dress looks totally comfy and awesome. I was looking at dresses this weekend at Target. I tried on a few and then got tired of my boobs being too big to fit into the dresses that I wanted to try on. What's the point of losing weight if I can't wear the tops that match my bottom size? UGH!
Good luck with going back to work full time--I'm sure that is a challenge with little ones at home! I love both looks, but because of my current orange obsession I'm drawn to the second look. Those shoes are AWESOME, and I love the other colorful accents with that gray dress!
Love the first outfit. Great backstage setting as well. Sorry about the remote.

Love both of these! The print mixing is perfect, and I love all the pops of color in the second!
You are looking very stylish - i love your mixing patterns, bold jewelry, and bright colors!
