Too Busy For A Monday...

Worn to Work Monday, May 23

Skirt-Ann Taylor Loft/Cardigan-Nordstroms/Shoes-Steve Madden/Jewelry-Target, BR

As I was taking these photos at the lake by my office, there was a couple that sat down right on the bench across from me and started making out...awkward!!

So, I get a call from Jack's doctor this morning.  I was assuming that they would say his chest x-ray was clear and all was well.  But, to my shock, the nurse told me there was something on his chest x-ray on his lungs...they are not sure and they thing it might be a respiratory or bronchial infection...antibiotic and inhaler time. My poor baby...I feel so helpless when he gets sick!

Truthfully, not much thought went into this outfit today.  I got up late, since Alex slept in my bed because he was afraid of the thunder and lightening, so i turned my alarm off.  This skirt was at the front of the closet and so was this cardigan.  I thought it would be springy to ad a bright colored tank, then threw on these shoes.  These leopard peep toes are one my favorites...be prepared to see them a lot this summer

Could there please be more than 24 hours in a day....I need at least 36 to get everything done...
pretty please...with sugar on top...

No...ok...fine...back to work!

Aww your poor little guy! And my goodness, I know how hard it is for US when they're sick, too. So, I hope he gets better quickly, so life for you can feel normal again!

I never would have guessed you put that outfit together so quickly... I love it!

Oh, more hours in the day would be lovely...

I'm so sorry about your son! It really makes us feel helpless when they're sick and we can't fix it. :( Hopefully the meds will make it better.

I really like this outfit on you! Love the pop of color in the shirt and those shoes are fantastic!

Come take a look inside A Working Mom's Closet

I hope your son feels better! Infections of any sort aren't fun. About that obnoxious kissing couple, you should have sat right next to them and started staring. I've done it before and it WORKS. :-)

I really love that cardigan!

Poor Jack. Hopefully the antibiotics and inhaler take effect very quickly.

I have to say that I am totally enamored of this sweater - grey detailing!

That is awkward, but you got some great photos at least! I love the details in your outfit--the leopard shoes, the lace panel on your cardi, and the beaded necklace!
