Back to the Grind

Worn to work Monday, November 28

I feel very professional in this outfit today. Just bought this dress yesterday after contemplating and admiring it all week. I love the detailing at the neckline and the waist, not sure if you can see it in the pictures, but it has pleating and kind of a zebra black and brown pattern. It had a fabric belt, but I switched it out for a funkier one.
It's not easy to get back into the swing of work after so many days off, when my alarm when off this morning, I was slightly disturbed, but back to the grind.
My baby is starting school this week. I gave him his new Diego backpack this weekend and he has been carrying it around everywhere...so cute!

I love the pattern of the dress! It was hard for me to get back in the grind today too. The only bad thing about holiday weekends is when they end :(

I didn't realize this dress had such a fun print until I went back and took a closer look. I think that's fun when a work dress has something about it that's secretly special! Plus, I always feel great when I'm wearing a sleek sheath like this. Also, wasn't today the worst?! The day after vacation is so hard. I'm definitely not getting back in the swing of things yet.

Wow, I am immensely jealous of those boots. Love them! I'd like to know why all of the boots I love are always already in someone else's closet, and never in the store when I need them :)
