Dizzy Up The Girl...

Floral and Peplum For Fall...

 Top-H&M/Skirt, Boots-LOFT/Jewelry-Target, Fox's, Jcrew, Madewell

Barely any of the full body shots turned out very well today...windy,  broken tripod, massive headache... so today there are pieces...kind of like how I think the outfit looked better as pieces...
I finally found a peplum top I liked...but I think I should have styled it with a slimmer bottom half silhouette...pencil skirt or skinny pants would work better.  Floral skirt wise...I think a slimmer top would have worked better with this skirt since it has a bit of volume.  Footwear wise, something with a bit of a heel, since the skirt hits right below the knee... Don't get me wrong...I love the way I looked today as I strolled through my meetings at work, but as I look at these photos, I see how I could have styled this outfit differently...  That is one of the great things about blogging...I spend too much time staring a photos of myself, but I am always learning something new...

So much beauty in fall...

Gorgeous fall look! The purple/plum peplum is a very pretty color on you.

I know exactly what you mean about an outfit after seeing it in photos. That's the great thing about blogging, we can see our outfits and tweak them for us in the future! Heather

I really like this outfit just the way you put it together! I think the peplum still works over a fuller skirt because of the defined waist, and because it's not as full as others I've seen. And I love black and gold accessories.

I like the way it turned out, but I totally know what you mean. It's amazing how different an outfit can look in photos vs. the mirror! I love the print of that skirt, it's so pretty!

What a fab fall look! I hear ya on the photos. Some of my outfits look great in person, just don't photograph very well.

I love peplum tops. Helps to hide the parts that I don't want to draw attention to...namely so I can continue eating way too much cheese.
