Comfort has been the key these last few days.  My stomach and my incision have been bothering me and I feel the beginnings of a cold coming on...wonderful!  I am still on the fence about the jeans...

This dress was one of my wardrobe staples this summer, so I was hoping it could transition to fall with the addition of tights and a sweater...I am not sure if it worked.  I first tried it with brown flat boots, but since the dress goes just past my knees, it looked funny...so I decided on the brogues.  But since the dress is such flimsy cotton, the tights and sweater just seem to heavy... But nothing say comfort like a loose dress and a big slouchy sweater...
On the jewelry front, but new zipper bracelets are from thehippiechicksew via etsy.  I was looking for another zipper bracelet since my Jewelmint on broke when my anger got the best of me and I pounded on the table...the poor bracelet did not even see it coming...

I hope everyone has a restful weekend...I know I will try to.

I like the way you styled the dress! I have it in navy/gray, and feel the same way about it maybe not transitioning to fall that well. I saw Kristen on Low Fat Dressing layer a long-sleeved tee under hers this spring, so that might be another option for cooler weather.

It looks successful from here. I love the cozy sweater and the brogues. I seem to be handling the transition very simply. Which isn't great for the ol' personal style blog. Hee hee!

Love the striped top. I need that striped top! The scarf was the perfection addition too!

Comfort has been key for me these days, too. I try to be cute and comfortable, but end up with a lot of mish-mash that's not photographable.

I totally commend you for being comfy and chic!

Before I even read anything you wrote I was thinking how GREAT those jeans looked on you!

Well I think those jeans look great on you--as much as I love skinnies and wide legs, I still love a boot-cut pair. And I think they look great with those shoes too!

Love the stripes in both outfits. I think they can go with just about anything and look awesome. Love your scarf, so excited to be busting them out already! Hope your weekend is going well!!
