You Cannot Shove the Round Peg Into The Square Hole

Worn to Work Monday, April 2

Dress-Target/Blazer-Tulle/Bracelet-Calypso for Target/Shoes-Vaneli

I am not sure this outfit is very exciting....partially because I am not sure about much lately.  I threw on this dress because it was easy and hanging in the front of my closet.  Not sure when or where I bought this blazer...but I really like it...fitted and short sleeves...perfect! After looking at these photos, I realize that This outfit is really matchy-matchy...all blue and purple...that was not done on purpose, but it turned out pretty well!  Nearly got blown away trying to take these photos.  It is windy, I am wearing wedges higher than normal and climbing on the rocks n a dress...what a sight I have must been!

Worn to Work Tuesday, April 3

Blazer-Ann Taylor Loft/Tank Top-Old Navy/Skirt-Anthropologie/Boots-Zara

This outfit is just kind of a mash up of whatever I could grab this morning.  I have just been so tired lately that getting dressed in the morning has become an exhausting task.  I definitely need to start picking out my outfits the night before.  I usually try to plan my outfit in my head while getting ready for bed, but it never really seems to translate to when I get dressed the next morning.  I think a lot of my frustration with getting dressed lately has to do with the fact that I just hate the way my clothes look on me lately.  I am not sure why I have been so angry with my body, but I seem to have no control over it.  I think  maybe it just goes hand in hand with the fact there there seems to be no control in all aspects of my daily life at this time.  I am just always so frustrated and tired...
Blah....I am not dealing well...

Oooh, the shoes in your first outfit are so cute!

I definitely have the same problem with outfits seeming like a good idea until I actually put them on. I went through a few yesterday before I finally got out the door for work. I think both of these outfits look really good though.

I plan outfits all the time that end up disappointing me in pictures. Yours look nice to me though,a nd I like those purple shoes a lot.

Love the blue blazer so much. Want to steal the blue blazer. Also loving the chambray skirt! Sorry you're in a negative space right now... we all go through it, hopefully yours will pass soon.

You can do it! I feel angry with my body today too... so I am going to do a kick-butt workout right now so I can get over it quicker! I love your outfit-- it's very cute and I like how you played with colors!

Your "I'm not sure if this is exciting" and "This is just a mash up" are my kind of accidental perfection, lady. And these outfits would both be great for my new gig!!!

Accidental or no, I think you look great in both outfits. I love the bows on the first pair of shoes so much :)

I'm sorry for whatever you're going through right now that has you in such a frustrating place. I will try to send some happy thought mojo your way, so whatever has you down will straighten its act up right now.

The first outfit is classic, while the second is quite inspired. Both are successful - own it, lady!
