The Babysitter is Not Supposed to Sit On The Baby...

Worn to work Tuesday, May 23

Dress-target/Jacket-Ann Taylor Loft/Shoes-Urban Outfitters

Just bought this denim linen jacket from Ann Taylor Loft...so soft and comfy....love the faded color.  Is is perfect for my freezing office and over dresses and with skirts all spring and summer long.

Had a lot of errands to run today, so I wanted to be comfy....jeans and t shirt. To add some fun I added the bright pink belt, bunch of wrap bracelets and my brogues.  I love these jeans...I bought these right after the first surgery, they have a bit of stretch.  But, now that everything is back to normal, they are a bit to big and I have trouble keeping them up...good thing I like to wear belts.

So, on the I'm very excited front, I found a babysitter/ nanny. I was having a hard time finding someone who would pick Jack and Alex up from camp and take them back to the house...it is a long drive. Today I found an absolutely wonderful girl to help take care of my boys! Knowing that they will be in good hands will make the transition of going back to work full time easier.

On an unrelated note, I never realized how dependent I was on the internet.  Our wireless was down in the house today, and I was lost without the use of my laptop...no blogging.  So, then I went to my new Kindle...love it...to read a book.  I finished a book last night and with no wireless, I could not even download a book to read! Ahhhh! Must fix!!!

Um, I want your whole "comfy" outfit! I am a sucker for brogues and need to go out and get me a pair...

Your braclet with the dress and the oxfords with your comfy outfit are great. Happy you found a babysitter. It's hard to find good help.

I cracked up at your post title :) Glad you found a nonsittingonbabies babysitter, and I'm loving all these Loft pieces!

I was eyeing that tee earlier on LOFT's site - love it.

I know how hard it is to find a good sitter - especially one that will (in your case literally) go the distance. What a relief.

I'm loving both outfits!! I love the contrasting stripes in the bracelet and dress, and the combination of olive and pink with the oxfords. And I totally know what you mean--I'm going crazy being "disconnected" all day!!

I am so glad the nanny/sitter search was a success! We went through three or four rounds of interviews before Steve and I were finally able to coordinate our flex schedules and eliminate the need for one, and they were maybe my least favorite things, ever.

Yay for finding someone you're comfortable with :)
