It's Times Like These We Learn to Live Again....

So I am driving back from a meeting, and I spy this interesting looking spot to take my outfit pic. I remind you I live in the Chicago snow and the temperature is about 23 degrees.  I run out and set up the tripod in the snow and try to climb on that wall within the 10 seconds my camera timer allows.
After trying to climb up in the allotted time and falling on my butt in the snow...this is what I achieved.
Not too great...days like this is when I need a photographer...but alas, I kept trying...

By the time I was done, I was freezing and had a wet butt....fun!!
I really liked this outfit today.  I just purchased this gray dress from Old Navy and I love it!! I think it will be very versatile and I cannot wait to remix it for all the seasons.  In fact, I think I am going to include it in my 30 x 30 I love it so much.

The grey dress looks like it will be easy to remix. Perfect for the 30x30.

That dress is perfect for the 30x30! Great choice to include.

I think these shots of you are fun...sorry you ended up with a wet butt, though!

You, my dear, are dedicated :)

This is a great outfit...I'm especially a fan of the sweater. I love patterns on other people, probably because I'm always so terrified of them on myself!

I am amazed that you stood outside in the Chicago cold for that long to get these snaps! What a trooper. And snaps for joining the 30x30 challenge - I'll be right there with you!

Some of those pictures were very successful. Thank you for sacrificing your cold, wet bottom for us!! The necklace looks really good with the cardigan.

I feel like I should do a 30 for 30 at least once but I just don't think I have very versatile items in my closet. I guess I'd find out, huh?

HAHA I have to say that is one of the reasons I purchased a remote - running around in the elements trying to get the shot in time was just too dangerous!

I love the location AND your neutrals + fun prints here. WORTH IT. :D

This dress BELONGS in a 30 for 30. I'm totally inspired by your striped/animal print combo. Lookin' good, lady.

Leaving the House in THIS?!?!

I love the pattern mixing! And that necklace and cardi were made for each other! I will chime in with the chorus here and say that dress will be a great piece for 30x30.
