Do not be disturbed by the whiteness of my legs...the will not blind you...at least not permanently!
Today is the first day my legs have seen the open air this year. Wow...they are white!!
I dreaded getting dressed today. The dress code at work is not that formal unless we have a client meeting, but I still cannot wear my the loose pajamas I had on all weekend. The thought of tights or dress pants pulling on my incision made me cringe, so I thought I would try my jean skirt with the elastic waist with bare legs since it was going to be above 40 degrees here today. I chose this cardigan because I love the lace detailing, it was loose and flowy but still had shape...I did not want anything too form fitting since underwire bras and I are not on speaking terms yet!
I like how this outfit turned out comfy, professional enough yet stylish!
So, this is my first week back at full speed with my work/kids school schedule...just thinking about it makes me tired!
GO BUTLER BULLDOGS!!!

Gosh I'm such a baby. I'm cringing for you here. I would be wearing muumuus. :)
That skirt is really cute. I bet it's really versatile too.

Love the sweater and this whole silhouette on you. Hope you continue to feel better! Good luck getting back in the swing of things.
YAY! Go Butler! Also, I am loving the bracelet I'm catching a glimpse of up there!
Love that denim skirt and your nail polish color!!!
Great outfit for your first day back! It meets all of your comfort needs, and still looks good.
I don't know if I'm quite ready to bare my bright white legs just yet - it might need to warm up a little more for me.
I really like your cardigan. I am always cold, so I usually wear tights until it hits the 70s. I'm a wimp!
Awww you poor thing! I hope you made it through the day without too much pain. On the upside, your skirt is really cute. It's totally different than what immediately comes mind when I think of jean skirts (you know - California girls in tiny tight ripped denim skirts).
You are amazingly strong...I can't imagine how tough it must be to put yourself together for work when you probably have a zillion other things on your mind (and a zillion other places you may want to be)...but you look fantastic!
Congrats on pulling off the comfy chic today :)
I agree with Jenn, I would probably be wearing muumuus, too! Sounds like you were areal trooper today and hey! You also look fab! I especially love your ring and bracelet. Love!

You look incredible! Perfect outfit for your first day back and I hope it was equally as comfortable as it is adorable. I've been searching for a denim skirt like that, I love it!
Hope your week has been going well!

Hi there! I just found you via the Fashion Bloggers Map that Rose a la Mode put together! I am from Chicago, too, so it's great to find another blogger here in town! I think your outfit posts are really cute, and I'm glad to see you're a Butler fan, too! Matt Howard is from my hometown and his sister and I were friends in high school, so the final was absolutely heartbreaking for me, but I'm starting to move on. :) I look forward to keeping up with your blog! Feel free to stop by mine as well!
