I took a walk to the lake on my way to lunch today. I thought the partial shadows of the trees would make a great backdrop for today's photos.
I was not really a fan of this outfit when I left the house. I threw it together when it realized that school started in 10 minutes and Jack was standing by the door, with his coat on, ready to go. Another one of my summer dresses that I wanted to style for winter, so I layered it with one of my favorite sparkly cardigans and a fun clock necklace.
Just because I love you all so much, here is what I wore yesterday!
Skirt-Fox's/Top-Limited/Sweater-Loft/Jewelry-Black Sheep, Target, F21
Just a basic outfit than I tried to make a little less basic by adding a lace skirt and a ruffly cardigan.
I have another photography job tomorrow...I am a bit nervous. I am shooting photos for a brochure and website for a group of preschools. Also, I am not sure what to wear for a day of photographing kids...
I think a skirt might be too awkward getting up and down from the floor with the kids. Also, I am not sure if jeans are too casual...
What a dilemma...have any suggestions?

Hmm, do you have any corduroys? That's always my solution when I want to be comfortable but still look put-together. Anyway, I love both looks, especially that sparkly cardi! It's got just the right amount of sparkle.

Well, if you wear dark jeans, a dressy top and a nice blazer, then you will be very professional, and still be able run around with the kids.

I think a skirt or dress would be okay if you wear it with thick leggings. I'd be more comfortable in that than pants or jeans, but that's just my personal preference. I don't wear pants or jeans very often.
I'm adding to the chorus that your hair looks great up in that little braid. I like both outfits, too!
I think you could get away with jeans, as long as they were a dark wash.

I LOVE the dress and camel cardigan, cant believe you didnt like it much and just thre it together, it looks awesome, and effortless!
