Just a sample...using Alex as my model!
Since I knew I was going to be running around and getting up and down off the floor a lot, I knew I had to wear something comfortable, but since it was a religious school, it had to be "appropriate"

This outfit totally perfectly for the long day I had. Stopped by the Gap on the way home Wednesday and picked up these pants...love them. Not jeans, but not quite dress pants...skinny and stretchy!! I paired them with a flowy top to offset the skinniness.
I finished up the photo shoot today to cover the Shabbat festivities at the school. I knew that I had to go back to the office in the afternoon, so I went with a comfortable skirt. I just hopped I didn't flash any of the kiddos getting up off the floor...ha!

On a different note...my flatiron committed suicide this morning...RIP to my CHI...
Anyone have any recommendation on a high quality and durability flatiron...preferably under $100...
my wallet is pretty empty this month...
Good thing the weekend is finally here...I am beginning to feel that warn feeling in my throat and my eyes that means I am getting sick...ahhh!

You crack me up! I love your new stuff from GAP - I was thinking about picking up that tee and you've convinced me :) Hope you have a fab weekend...
oh my gosh your alex is adorable!
And so is that polka dot shirt. Yeah I can't imagine asking any kid to settle down and pose for a pic. haha
I LOVE the print on the first shirt...so great! Oh, don't get sick! Feel better!

JCC preschool? If so, sigh. I literally just turned down our acceptance yesterday, and my heart still hurts about it!
I adore the polka dots with denim, and the flat brogues with the denim skirt are both casual and totally chic. Perfect for your day!
I hope it's just a false alarm and you stay healthy! Being sick is no fun :( I love both looks--both navy printed tops are so fun. I want one of each!
I love what you ended up wearing for the shoot...perfect combo of professional, comfy and it has that creative look you'd expect a photagrapher to have;)

You are rocking some serious accessories in both of these outfits! In your more casual look I love the bright rings and bracelets you choose, they just pop against your shirt. In your "for work" outfit your bangles are the perfect addition to this classic look. Both looks are great.
Do you know the name of those pants from the Gap? I am always on the lookout for good pants! Thanks!
OH NO! I think I would cry if my flat iron ever left me...my sister got me a CHI for Christmas, and I have to stop myself from trying to cuddle with it every morning, because I love it so much :)
