First...I apologize if my blazer blinds you...between the fact I took these photos at the height of the sun during my lunch break and the bright red of my blazer, these photos are mighty bright. Second, I was not haw sure I wanted to go with the kitch factor for the nautical theme...so, after perusing my closet options, I decided on the lower to middle end of the spectrum. The topsiders are extremely nautical...always think of red as a nautical color, and of course, the anchor necklace tops of the look! Also, the boys say my scull ring is from pirates and they sail...nautical! I feel ready to jump on a sailboat and demand to be first mate!

No lie, I totally heard that Styx song on the radio this morning. I was belting it out in the car, and I didn't even make the connection that it coincided with EBEW Nautical day.

I love the little boys' justification of the scull ring. Brilliant! Totally makes sense, so I'm with them on that one. I just looked at those silver Sperry's at Nordstrom Rack tonight and keep pondering whether I'd get much wear out of them. Have you work them much? Are they comfy?
